Host an Event

With Catechumeneon, LTP offers our assistance to parishes and dioceses as they seek to train and form ministers around Christian initiation. We invite you to consider hosting one of our training events to help your catechumenal ministers and parish leaders deepen their understanding and vision of the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults.

RCIA Training and Formation

The in-person and virtual training opportunities throughout this site give you an overview of events you can host in your parish, diocese, or region. All training events can be presented in English and/or Spanish, and we invite you to collaborate with LTP to create customized topics. For more information, contact us at training@ltp.org or call 773-579-4900, ext. 3532.

Contact LTP to schedule your training event 6–12 months before your desired date. (Please note that weekends in Autumn and Winter Ordinary Time fill up quickly.)

Diocesan offices are invited to collaborate with their counterparts from neighboring diocese in organizing a regional gathering for Christian initiation ministers. Working with those in your region or province is a way to share and steward resources well while building a vibrant initiation network in the region.

Whether sponsored by the offices for worship, catechesis, evangelization, clergy formation, the bishop’s office, or even part of a diocesan ministry/catechetical gathering, work with us to schedule your next in-person training. Presenters from LTP are available for a variety of topics on Christian initiation and liturgical ministry.

Parishes too can host an LTP in-person or virtual training event. You can collaborate with other parishes in your geographic region or contact your diocesan office and let them know you are interested in hosting an LTP workshop.

There are several models of pricing and travel reimbursement. Please contact us for more information so we can best work out an arrangement that works for you and your community.

Contracted Virtual Workshop Sessions

Virtual Workshops™ are right for any parish or diocese that is seeking creative and flexible ways to engage parish ministers in ongoing formation and training. Participation models include:

  • Individual participation from home computer or mobile device
  • Group participation with several people gathered from a parish meeting room or select satellite sites around the diocese
  • Hybrid model that blends both of these opt

Virtual Workshops™ can be customized to meet your training and formation needs. Whether you have a specific topic in mind or you want to brainstorm with the LTP training staff, the first step in scheduling one of LTP's Virtual Workshops™ is to contact the Training and Events Manager. This conversation will help set the date, format, and finalize the topic.

Contact LTP to schedule your training event minimally 3 to 6 months before your desired date.

Team of Presenters

The Catechumeneon team of presenters includes authors of LTP's trusted resources and other experienced ministers of Christian initiation. Each presenter has been formed in effective adult faith formation methods. If you are interested in being considered as a member of the team of Catechumeneon presenters, contact us at training@ltp.org.
