Workshop Presenter

Michael Ruzicki is the Training and Events Manager and a member of the editorial team at Liturgy Training Publications. He also serves as the director of music for Notre Dame de Chicago Parish. Before arriving at LTP, he served as a team member of the North American Forum on the Catechumenate, a parish pastoral associate for liturgy, and as coordinator of adult and sacramental formation and director of the archdiocesan music ministry for the Archdiocese of Baltimore. He is a graduate of The Catholic University of America and the Washington Theological Union.

The entire parish is the initiating community for those children of catechetical age seeking initiation or full reception into the Catholic Church. These children are not merely "catching up" on formation; rather they are to journey through an RCIA process, which is adapted for their age and stage of faith. These adaptations are explained in Part Two of the RCIA. Join Michael Ruzicki, from Liturgy Training Publications, in an exploration of these adaptations, as well as various parish-tested models, sample catechetical sessions, ways to collaboratively prepare the liturgical rites so that we can fully implement the vision of RCIA Adapted for Children within our parishes.
